End of the Year

I successfully completed my first year of teaching! It feels pretty darn good to be done. We had a very short and simple kindergarten graduation but the kids were all so cute dressed up. The last full day of school we took the kindergarteners to the Denver zoo. The Hub came with, mostly to take care of me, but I actually had a great day and felt awesome until we got home.

A lot of you are asking what I am going to do next year so here it is...as long as I start feeling better this summer, I will be back in my same job, take about 6-8 weeks for the baby, and then go back and finish the year. The Hub will only need a few classes after the baby is born so he will play mom for a few months. Hopefully things work out but I am very torn about going back to work. Insurance is important though and it will only be a few months and then I can stay home. I am excited to be back in my same position. The preschoolers that I had this year will be my kindergarteners and they are great and come from great families. I am pretty happy about this and think it will be a good year.

Yay! Relief! I bet you were so proud of your little ones when they "graduated" though. Whatever works for your family is what is important. It is a blessing that Adam gets to stay at home at least.

HOw fun to be a teacher!! And don't worry, you'll be alright with the new baby and having to go back to work for a little while, especially since you'll have an end in sight. Make sure you have good support and a good pump for breastfeeding...let me know if you have a questions regarding any of that:) It's what I love. I hope continues to go well for you!!

Ha ha- I'm surprised you noticed it! It's actually a sist...cist? cyst? However you spell it- and it will eventually have to be removed, but not until he's older. We call it his unicorn. Or sometimes his third eye. I'm sure it has magical powers of some sort. I mean, what's a third eye good for if it doesn't have magical powers?
