Dats my Baby

Yep its true! Measuring in at 3.61cm and a heart rate of 176 beats per min, we are having a baby. Sorry to keep it from you guys for so long but we wanted to be in the semi-clear before we told people. Soooo...here he/she is for the first time ever seen!
The Doc informed me that the third leg is not necessarily man parts.. I told the doc that we had Italian in our blood...
I am due December 16th and I am exactly 11 weeks along. The only bad thing about it is the morning sickness (all day sickness really) and we might miss Christmas. Sorry Grandma. I am nausiated all day and night. Finally, they put me on some medication that helps a little and I can get through the school day but ladies, I need some pregnant sympathy. Sorry to all the friends and family we have shafted for the past five weeks. If you saw me you would know right away why I decided to stay at home.

We are pretty excited! Especially now that we can actually see what is inside of me. The doc says things look normal and good so hopefully everything runs smoothly.

Yay! You guys are going to have so much fun and be great parents. You know, us teachers are just a natural at it! Your baby is going to have one awesome personality! At least school's out while your sick right? Sorry, don't have any tips for that, but you have all my sympathy.

YAY!! I'm so excited for you two...you'll make the perfect parents! Sus...just stick to the medication. That was the only thing that eased my morning sickness. Lots of people will tell you crackers, seltzer water, etc. But...the meds are the best. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know if you need maternity clothes to borrow. I have 3 HUGE totes just sitting in my basement waiting for someone to use them! I have both summer and winter clothes, so you're welcome to them! Love you both!!! Tia

AAAHHH! YAY! I am so excited for you guys. And oh my gosh, Susan...I completely understand. The whole morning sickness thing is a MYTH. It really is all day sickness, but I swear it gets better. Mine lasted until about 14 weeks and I always tell people that I would rather go through labor once a week than do the puking for 14. But it will get MUCH MUCH better. I am glad they put you on meds. What worked for me? I was a big ginger person. Ginger and saltines. Oh the joy. Anyway, ANYTHING you need, you let me know! You know me...I am pretty dang obsessed with babies.

Spunky is going to Slade. And I heard a rumor that the principal from Rock River is transferring to Slade. Is that true? And if so, should I be okay with that? I don't know their teaching philosophy, but I really liked her teacher. We had a great chat. You are going to have to give me pointers and questions to ask...I am a first timer!

Holy cow! We're so excited for you guys! We're so sorry for your sickness, Susan, but I'm sure the little one will prove to be worth it. Glad we'll be close by to meet the little milmont! You asked where we'll be living: We've bought a condo near the Aurora mall in the Cherry Grove East II condominiums. It was quite a find, and the med. school is just three miles to the north of us. Yay!
