Movie Time "Iron Man"

We went to go see Iron Man today. Yeah it pretty much rocked! All and all I would give it two thumbs up. I really enjoyed to story progression. I have not read the comics so I'm not sure how true to the original it is, but from an outside perspective it rocks.

I would have to say that out of the Comic movies this one has a certain believability that the others don't. Don't get me wrong I am a Big X-men fan, but the random evolution of wings or Lazar emitting cornea is a bit of a stretch. A super rich, super smart guy building a super sweet suit on the other hand... does not seem to inconceivable in comparison. It was relay cool on the big screen, but if nothing else, definitely a rental.

Our Spring Trips

I thought it was starting to ge nice here... that was untill we went to Arizona with 80+ weather for spring break. We stayed with Grandma and Grandpa in a retirement community, so we got to brush up on some of the finer things in life... like driving golf carts instead of cars. you would be surprized what some of these people do with there carts down here.

Look what i can do!!
we picked fresh oranges from the tree in the back yard. and while the women folk made fresh squished orange juice.
I re-aranged the two twin beds into a more favorable orientation
We had alot of run with grandpa hicking up at White Berral... I mean White Tank mountain. we saw lots of native american carvings on the rocks, it was pritty sweet.
After Arizona we took a short road trip out to Utah. We stayed with Sweeties friend from college. She cooked us pancakes, I like pancakes:) I was excited to meet up with some old friends and family (the three cousins reunited once agian) from the mission, Somos los Viejos. Including non-other than the elusive German, el Alleman.

We also got tickets for a sesion of conferance which was a lot of fun. I used my journal for a tripod. not bad for a little book eh?

It was realy neat to meet the former TexasEricsons in person. the wife and the Jake had alot of fun together as soon as he got use to her. In the background you can catch a glimps of my cousin resently returned from mission, injoing some home cookin'. all and all it was a fun trip. To top it off we had some all you can eat frys at RedRobin with eRock, big E, lil Brit, and The Bot (sporting a new stream-lined look).

Tango Bango

It was recycling day and we had too many jugs for four hands to handle so I invented the WonderJug-Belt (or Tango Bango depending on the jugs' nation of origin). Handy for storing juice and plays a double roll as a drum set.

Last weekend we went down to the temple. It was a good time... then we went to Anne Taylor Loft...I got yelled at by the security girl...I better let the wife explain. Men just don't understand that you can't really go in the fitting rooms. But, I have to say that it is my fault because I asked him to get me another size. For the Hub being so kind to go shopping, we went to Krispy Kreme Donuts. He loved them.

He was caught red handed. He'll do just about anything for donuts.

Oh yeah...and did I mention that the hub took pictures as I came out of the dressing room. How embarrassing; but, I guess it kept him occupied.

The Office

The results are in. According to NBC.com, my personality matches best with none other than than the big tuna.

We both have rather large chins, I would say. All Jim needs is a cool floppy hat and some glasses and he's there.

It was close though, some of my answers had definite Schruteties.

Back to Bloggin'

So there have been no real pictures taken in the last little bit... so imagine that it's actual January 10th instead of February. So first off we celebrated our 2 year anniversary (I like to call it honeymoon 2) up in Estes Park. We had a great dinner...we won't talk about the check under my right elbow.
We also saw a wolf!!! He was ice skating. He obviously did not see the sign.

We had a good time at Christmas in Colorado. The Wii was a hit with both the little and big cousins. I wish we had taken a video. I'm glad Wii remotes have wrist straps. We had a good time with Lil'mil. We tried to sacrifiace Lil'mil to the stocking gods.....

but he got bored fast and decided it would be more fun to escape and eat a cup.

He also was against laying still for a diper change. There must be some kind of trick moms use to change babys' dipers. I mean he was like a little corkscrew. I tried to spin him the other way but it didn't work either...o well, I guess i'm off the hook in the future:)
notice the unusually large calf looming in the background...yeah, I got no help from him.
