All Things New Part 1

Its been a while but we have lots of new things to share. We have moved to a new home (sorry no pictures yet, I refuse to take pictures until there are no more boxes). New jobs (I don't care what anyone says, staying at home really is a full time job). Meeting new cousins. What seems like a new baby because of all the new and great things she learns everyday. Here are a few pictures. Our small but hopefully prosperous garden. Check out the rhubarb in the background! It took about 4 harvesting sessions but I finally got it all out but then a week later, it comes back. Rhubarb crisp anyone? New couch, and as you can see, Rose is sitting up all by herself. Here's a new habit...wanting to come in bed with us in the early morning. I can't complain. At least she's sleeping.
New explorations.

Meeting cousin Li'l Mil and Aunt E for the first time!
Li'lMil and 'A's brother on our scooter. Beep beep!

'A' trying to handle Rose and cousin Nano. They are only 3 weeks apart. Good thing we didn't have twins!

you could say spontaneous

I finished work last week (yippee!) and A got a job in Cheyenne as an oral surgeon assistant and started today. So, as soon as he got the job we thought we needed to take a much needed vacation asap. So we got tickets on Thursday and headed to San Diego on Saturday. It was a little crazy trying to get everything ready to go but we pulled it off. Here are some great pictures of our trip.

Rose did pretty good on the plane on the way there although she didn't sleep. On the way back she screamed for about 10 minutes :( and then fell asleep. A new face Rosie is making. Its her thinking face. All smiles at Sea World during the dolphin show! Darth doesn't stand a chance against those chubby rolls!Mini Las Vegas at Legoland

We toured the USS Midway aircraft carrier. When we went on the flight deck Rosie loved the wind blowing in her face so she blowed bubbles the entire time.
We had a great time and now its back to the everyday world. A went to work, Rosie and I both have a cold, and I'm at home with the daunting (and exciting) task of taking care of the baby and trying to move in the next few weeks.

something other than Rose to post about

We know we have really only posted about our fabulous little girl since she was born, but lets face it, she is a lot more interesting than us. Well, we now have something other than Rose to post about. This weekend was packed full of family, food, and celebration. First, A graduated on Saturday in Chemistry and Spanish. We had almost the entire family over for pizza and cake. Then on Sunday we traveled to the homeland to celebrate Mother's Day. Here are some pictures of the events. Walking
The family
In 18 or so years, this picture might look a little similar.
I kind of felt like a wizard... or a priest...

...all because dad pulled an elephant

And the winner is...Cheslea! Nice work. Rose is 15lbs 8iz and 25 inches long. When she got her shots she had a delayed reaction and turned a nice shade of purple before screaming for the longest 30 seconds of my life.

Rosie Contest

Rose is now 4 months old. How time flies! She is pretty darn cute and pretty darn big. We have been speculating on how much she weighs for a while. We wanted to run a little contest, so...guess how much Rose weighs and you will win...um, well you will win!

We go to the doc tomorrow so do it fast.

Here are a few pics of Rose taken today to give you an idea.

She likes her milk!

Laundry Day

So today I got stuck with doing laundry... Its all part of being Mr. Mom. Luckily little Rose helped me out. I discovered that its a whole lot easy to carry the baby along with the clothes then try and do everything one handed.
First she helped me sort out the darks. Then after the drying for a while, we took out all of dry clothes. Umm nice and warm! Oops that's full enough. OK I've had enough of in the basket... I cant move my feet!
All and all her favorite part was the sorting of the socks!

In Good Hands?

I went back to work last week and left Rose in the hands of my great husband (or so I thought). Here are a few pictures of what I came home to. Also, Little Rose is 3 months old! We can't believe how fast time has flown by and how big she is getting. I have to post the cutest of the cute. Wearing dad's socks...he calls this the Kracken!
Obviously Little Rose loves this!
All in all I think she is in pretty good hands.

Look how strong and cute! Always a good yawner. And lastly, Little Rose has started putting out her bottom lip. Here's a video of Rose in her new bouncer and the lip appears.
